Performance Tire & Auto is a family owned and operated company. We are celebrating our 75th year in business and have built a reputation of treating our employees like family. We have been voted Best Tire Store of Topeka for over 17 years. We have an immediate need for a Service Advisor.

We are picky though.

1st - You need to have a positive attitude and respect your fellow employees.

2nd - You need to be reliable and ready to support a team

3rd - You need to care our customers and advocate on their behalf.

4th - You need to be a skilled individual who can carry our reputation. Whether it’s working on a Tesla or doing a control arm on a 1985 Ford Taurus, we have built our stores in Topeka on our quality of work and not how many cars we turn out.

5th - You need to be able to multi-task. You must be able to wait on a customer, take a phone call, and order parts for vehicle at almost the same time.

We are a small business with not a lot of positions but have the right position for the right person. If you are this person, call us ASAP.

We have more work than we can get done because we treat our customers ALMOST as good as our employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with an inviting smile
• Excellent listener
• Answer the phone and sell from it
• Be able to use, and be a master at web browsing
• Understand the customer’s needs and illustrate it on a Repair Order
• Set appointments.
• Sell tires and service
• Understand tire and service warranties and illustrate them to our customers
• Be willing to help in the shop as needed to honor time estimates
• Shop cleaning, bathroom cleaning, and warehouse upkeep as needed

We can train you to do the job but we cannot train you to CARE. If you CARE about your job and your customer you will do well here.

Job Type

• Full-time
• Salary: $35,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
